Tent Camping at Mt. Greylock Campsite Park

A Word About Selecting Campsites:

When it comes to campsite selection at our campground, we are much like a hotel. You pick the type of campsite you need, based on the type/location/amenities, and we guarantee that you will be given the type/size you asked for. You will learn your campsite number when you check in with us.

Types of Tent Campsites:

We have 4 distinct types of tent camping on our campground:

Pond Primitive Tent Campsites

These campsites are located between our pond and a stream. Cars must park 150 ft. from the campsites. We provide wagons for guests to transport their camping gear to and from the campsite. These campsites have access to water and electric but do not have these utilities on the campsite. Tent guests on these campsites use our 24/7 Lower Bathhouse that has toilets, sinks and free hot showers located just behind our Activity Center – a 5-minute walk. These campsites are $40 a night for up to two adults and up to three children.

There is a fee for additional adults or children. The maximum number of people allowed on these campsites is 4 with a maximum of 2 tents/picnic shelters. Two pets are welcome. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. The more remote location of these campsites is a unique tent camping experience on our campground.

Hilltop Primitive Tent Campsites

These heavily treed campsites are located at the highest elevation of our campground in the pine forest. Designated parking is 50 ft. from the campsites. These campsites have access to water and electric but do not have these utilities on the campsite. Tent guests on these campsites use our 24/7 newly renovated Upper Bathhouse – a 7-minute walk from the camping area. There is a new "midnight run" toilet facility located in the pine forest for emergency night use only by tent campers.

These campsites are $40 a night for the first two adults and three children. There is a fee for additional adults or children. The maximum number of people allowed on these campsites is 6 in a maximum of 2 tents/picnic shelters. Two pets are welcome. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. These tent campsites offer a rustic experience in the woods.

Deluxe Tent Campsites 

These campsites are located throughout the campground and offer tent campers water, electric and parking on the campsite. They are $45 a night for the first two adults and three children. There is a fee for additional adults or children. The maximum number of people allowed on these campsites is 6 in a maximum of 2 tents/picnic shelters. Two pets are welcome. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table.

Group Tent Campsites

These 3 campsites are located in the Hilltop and Pond areas and include water, electric and nearby parking. They are ideal for large groups like Scouts, family reunions, and high school / college clubs and generally can accommodate between 10-28 guests. The fee is $12 per person, per night. What else is important to you about your campsite?

When you book online, there is a preference box that you can use to give us more information about the campsite you would like, such as "next to our friends (give us their first and last name)", "in the shade", "near the bathroom", "quiet", etc. We will do our best to place you with those additional requests in mind. Once you have stayed with us and have had the opportunity to see our campsites, you can request a specific campsite. 

Campsite Fees:

The fees listed below include 2 adults and 3 children. Additional adults are $12 per night, additional children (5-18 years old) are $6 a night. Children ages 4 and younger are free but count toward the number of people allowed to camp on our tent campsites. Weekly rates are discounted. Maximum stay on any tent campsite is 7 nights.

Pond Tent Campsite - $40 a night, $240 week
Hilltop Tent Campsite - $40 a night, $240 a week
Deluxe Tent Campsite - $45 a night, $270 a week

Making a reservation online is easy:

1. Determine the location/amenities i.e. pond, hilltop, or deluxe campsite. Please check the descriptions above carefully.
2. Determine the dates you would like to camp with us.
3. Know the number of adults, children (0-18 years of age) and pets that will be camping with you. Note: There is a maximum of 4  people and 2 structures (tents/picnic shelters/hammocks) on the pond, and 6 people and 2 structures on the hilltop and deluxe tent campsites.
