Mt. Greylock Campsite Park Policies

  • Check-in is from 2 pm - 9 pm. Please contact the office to make alternate arrangements if you cannot check in during this time frame.
  • Check-out is at 12 pm - No exceptions.
  • During your stay, call us 24/7 at (413)-447-9419 if you have security concerns, utility issues, need medical assistance or anything else.
  • Bathhouses (free hot showers)
  • Activity Center (9 am-9 pm daily)
  • Laundry (24/7) - Our laundry facilities are located by the Office/Recreation Building and have two coin-operated washers and dryers. Coin change, laundry soap, and fabric softener are available in the campground store.
  • Pool (10 am-8 pm daily) - Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult over the age of 21. Swim diapers must be worn by toddlers.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available at the Pool and Welcome Center, including the surrounding decks. Wi-Fi is available for purchase on all campsites at the Front Desk.
  • Security Gate - Once registered, the security gate will recognize your license plate number. Please use the call button if you experience any difficulties. Please WAIT FOR THE GATE. The gate closes promptly after each vehicle passes through.
  • Firewood - To protect our environment and keep our fire pits clean, outside wood is not allowed on the campground (unless in a sealed bag and certified bug-free). Firewood can be purchased at check-in, by calling our office, or by ordering through our app. It will be delivered to your campsite and charged to the credit card on file unless other arrangements are made.
  • RV, Travel Trailer, and Pop-Up Campsites have water, electric, and grey water hook-ups.
  • Deluxe Tent Campsites have water and electricity.
  • Dump Station - A dump station for black water is available at the end of your stay. Talk with guest services about honey wagon services. Black water should never be dumped onto the land.
  • Quiet Time is from 11 pm - 7 am. During this time, all children must be at their campsites and supervised by an adult, and all public areas are closed. Vehicle use is restricted to entering or exiting the campground only. All noise must be contained to your individual campsite. If you, your radio, or television can be heard from a neighboring campsite or from the road, you are being too loud. All campfires should be out by midnight.
  • Children must always be supervised, especially at the playground, pool, and fishing pond.
  • Visitors - People who do not register for the entire length of stay, including children and other family members, are defined as visitors.
  • Overnight visitor fees are $12.00 for adults or $6.00 for children ages 5 and older.
  • Day visitors are welcome between 10 am and 8 pm and must leave by 11 pm.
  • Visitors who stay for more than 15 minutes are required to purchase a day pass. $6.00 for adults and $6.00 for children aged 5 to 18.
  • Children under 5 are free but must still be registered as they count towards the allowable 8 people on each campsite.
  • All visitors must register at the office and get a Visitor Pass before going to the campsite.
  • Any visitors on the campground without having registered and/or paid the visitor fee(s) will be asked to leave immediately.
  • Campers are responsible for the behavior of their guests.
  • Bicycles are allowed. Helmets are required for children under the age of 16, as required by Massachusetts law.
  • Motorcycles may only be ridden when going to or leaving a campsite.
  • Campsites
  • Each campsite is limited to 8 people and 2 vehicles.
  • Tent campsites are limited to 6 people, 1-2 tents, and 2 vehicles.
  • Additional vehicles must be parked by the office, and guests/visitors shuttled to the campsites.
  • Cars may not be parked on adjacent campsites or the roads.
  • Each vehicle must display either a guest or visitor pass.
  • Trees
  • You may not cut down, nail, break branches off of, or otherwise harm the trees.
  • Clotheslines must be attached to campers only.
  • Please do not hang anything in the trees except hammocks with hammock straps.
  • Recycling - We have a recycling program for cans, bottles, cardboard, plastic, and paper.
  • At check-in, each campsite will receive a free recycling bag and a compost bag.
  • Please deposit recycling bags in the recycling dumpster and compost bags in our “Bear Proof” compost bin, located opposite the office.
  • Pets - Two well-behaved, quiet pets are allowed on each campsite.
  • Owners must keep their dogs on a 6-ft leash, clean up after them, and never leave them unattended on the campsite, in a camper, tent, or vehicle.
  • Dogs are not allowed in buildings, the playground, pool area, brook, or fishing pond.
  • Owners must present their pet's vaccination records when requested.
  • Firearms and Fireworks - BB guns, firearms, and fireworks are not allowed.
  • Dollies/Tow Trailers - Dollies/tow trailers must be disconnected at the bottom of the hill at check-in and can be stored safely during your stay.
  • Auto Collect - At booking, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. Payment for retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.
  • Cancellation Policy
  • Non-Holiday Reservation - If you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, the amount paid will be held for a future visit and may be used throughout the 2025 and 2026 season.
  • Holiday Weekend Reservation (Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th, and Columbus Day) - These weekends require a minimum reservation for three nights. Regardless of when you cancel, there is no credit toward a future visit.
  • Worry-Free Booking - When adding Worry-Free Booking to your reservation, receive a 75% reimbursement (minus the Travel Protection Fee) if you cancel your booking 14 days or less before your arrival date.
